Brij Mohan
Brij brings over 16 years of extensive experience in the development and implementation of low-carbon and climate-resilient projects across the region. His work focuses on integrating climate change considerations into development planning and project design to drive sustainable and impactful solutions.
In his current role at ADB, Brij provides technical expertise on country-level policy and strategy formulation related to climate change, spanning various sectors and thematic areas. He plays a pivotal role in supporting the preparation, processing, and implementation of development projects, ensuring climate change adaptation and mitigation measures are effectively identified and incorporated into their design and execution.
Brij has also contributed significantly to ADB’s Future Carbon Fund (FCF) and Asia Pacific Carbon Fund (APCF), where he supported the development and management of a multi-sector portfolio of high-quality mitigation projects. In these roles, he facilitated the mobilization of carbon finance to advance transformative climate actions across the region, gaining deep expertise in carbon markets and climate financing mechanisms.
Prior to his tenure with ADB, Brij served as a Senior Manager at Deloitte and also held a key position at Enercon (India) Limited, gaining valuable expertise in climate and energy solutions.
Brij is an Indian national and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE) along with a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).
