Aseem is currently leading the India Business Development for Tabreed, which is one of the world’s largest listed District Cooling utilities, providing energy-efficient, cost-effective and environmentally sustainable cooling. During the last three years with Tabreed, Aseem has been instrumental not only in the company’s growth by adding three more projects to its India portfolio, but also in growing the market for district cooling in India through a consistent effort towards market awareness and policy push. With over 13 years of experience across different parts of the value chain in clean energy, utilities and infrastructure with world’s leading organizations, Aseem has an expertise in evaluating businesses, winning tenders, acquisitions, securing project financing and equity partnerships. Prior to joining Tabreed, he worked with Enel (Italy) winning renewable energy projects close to 1 GW, and setting up a BD unit for the Asia Pacific region for its discom and smart metering business. His earlier experiences include strategy consulting and research assignments at EY (Ernst and Young) and PKC Advisory. Aseem holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Hans Raj College, University of Delhi, and an MBA from FORE, Delhi. As a Chartered Financial Analyst, he is also an active member of CFA Institute (United States) and CFA Society India.
