Sabyasachi Pattanaik is the Director & Country Lead at Oracle Energy & Water- Opower, is responsible for Oracle’s utility solutions and shaping regulatory and legislative policy that advances utility investment in technology innovation. He has more than 24+ years of experience all in the Electricity & Energy Sector, where he has worked in the whole value chain of the Energy & Power Industry. Sabyasachi works on the Suite of Oracle Utilities -Opower which is in to " IoT, customer Smart Meter data analytics, customer engagement, Behavioural Science, Behavioural Demand Response, which deals with Customer experience, DSM, Demand Flexibility, Peak load saving, Electrification, EV adoption through engagement and using AI & ML. He had been providing thought leadership from Oracle Utilities-Opower side within the Japan and APAC region. He has engaged as a utility and policy expert in multiple regulatory proceedings related to grid modernization, incentive-based ratemaking, utility business model transformation, and demand side resource planning. He has co-authored Whitepapers & blogs related to DSM, essence of Behavioral Science, Customer Engagement and Customer Data Analytics. He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Utkal University and holds an MBA from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad and an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He also has short term course in Supply Chain and International Marketing at Maastricht School of Management, Maastricht, Netherlands and Negocia Business School, Paris, France.
