Lead – Procurement and Private sector investments | USAID South Asia Regional Energy Partnership (SAREP) Project

Mayank is an energy and infrastructure expert with more than 15 years of experience in financial appraisal, transaction advisory, PPP and mobilising investments. His past experience is with organisations like Sterlite Power, Ernst & Young and Reliance Infrastructure. He has experience of working across 9 sub-sectors of infrastructure (renewables, thermal, transmission, water (desalination & waste water) hydro, municipal solid waste, airports, roads & metro.

He has undertaken numerous transactions both in the fields of PPP as well as fundraising and has extensive experience in financial modelling, structuring, due diligence, investor interactions, preparation of termsheets/transaction related documents and finalisation. In addition, he has also led many assignments relating to policy and regulatory frameworks with state utilities.

Mayank holds a MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai and B.Tech (Power) from National Power Training Institute, Delhi. Recently, he has also completed a one-year Senior Management Programme from IIM- Calcutta
