Prasanna joined ABB in 2003 and has held numerous management positions. He was Regional Sales Manager for Motors and Generators for India Middle East & Africa Region and Division Sales Manager for Motors and Generators. Currently, as a Vice President, Business Development for Motion business area, he drives strategy, new business initiatives for Drives, Motors, Traction and Services at ABB India. He also heads the Machine Service business which includes energy appraisal, condition monitoring, retrofit and upgrade business for motors & generators. Over these years, Prasanna has been a strong proponent of promoting energy efficiency and sustainable solutions for various industrial applications. Prasanna has a Masters in Power Systems and an MBA in Technology Management
