Charu Jain works as Environmental Specialist with the Environment, Natural Resources and Blue Economy Department of the World Bank in New Delhi office. A Civil Engineer by qualification with specialization in Environmental Engineering, Charu has worked with national and international consulting firms before joining the World Bank in 2017. Given her personal background in MSME, she well understands the challenges of the sector. She has been working in the domain energy and resource efficiency in MSMEs and health sector, besides working with the Energy Department of the Bank on renewable energy projects and with Water sector.
