Chandrashekar has Engineering and Management Qualifications with more than 31 yrs. in corporate and consulting firms. He started his career as Executive Assistant to Vice Chairman in Reliance Industries Limited in 1993 and worked with them for 7 yrs. on the group's expansion plans, project development and project financing. Subsequently, he worked with CRISIL, PwC, Meghraj Capital and Fichtner Consulting in different capacities. He has worked as Advisor to Governments at the National, State and City levels in more than 17 states in India and as many as 14 countries internationally in South Asia, South East Asia, Middle East Africa, and Caribbean Islands. His advice was mainly on strategy, restructuring, regulation and performance improvement of large government owned institutions in the Infrastructure Sector. He has worked extensively in the area of Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy on shaping policies, implementation plans and financing for various clients. At Sixth Energy, Chandra is the Executive Director and is responsible for Strategy, Growth and raising capital for the groups' hardware and software businesses. In particular, he is exploring how the company’s IOT technology and Remote Monitoring Solutions can help in measure, monitor and control of energy consumption in Enterprise Buildings, Telecom Towers and Data Centres.
