Anurag Goyal is an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Delhi. Before joining IIT Delhi, he was a researcher in the Building Energy Science Group at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado, from 2019 to 2021. He completed his Ph.D. from Georgia Tech in 2018 and B.Tech. from IIT Delhi in 2012, both in mechanical engineering. His research interests include sustainable low-energy cooling systems, thermal energy storage, and control of thermo-fluid systems. He is a recipient of the ASHRAE Graduate Student Grant-in-Aid for his PhD research, NREL Director’s Award for postdoctoral research, and NREL’s Outstanding Mentor Award.
