Akshima Tejas Ghate is associated with RMI India as a Managing Director. Akshima has deep experience in leading research, analysis, and partner engagement for national- and sub-national-level initiatives. Akshima serves as a Member of the Expert Advisory Group of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of Govt. of India on matters related to electric vehicles, alternative fuels and other energy and emissions related topics in the road transport sector. Akshima’s prior experience includes working as a Senior Fellow and Associate Director at the Transport and Urban Governance Division of The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi. She also serves on several expert committees set up by the Government of India and international agencies.
